Clubhouse Dress Code

The guideline for dress while at Westborough is “Country Club Casual”.  WCC’s dress code is designed to enhance the club’s Mission Statement, “Quality Leisure with Family and Friends”.  In order to provide an appropriate experience for everyone at the club, all members and their guests are requested to adhere to the spirit of the dress code.

  • Founders Room and Bar: Golf attire and tasteful denim are welcome in addition to “Country Club Casual”. Gentlemen, Ladies and children are to remove caps in the dining area. Work-out attire is not appropriate for the dining or bar area.
  • Club Room:  (For more elegant dining) Jackets are recommended and denim is not permitted.
  • Examples of attire that would not be appropriate anywhere in the clubhouse:  Cut-off shorts, frayed pants, excessively wrinkled garments, torn or ripped garments, tee-shirts, tank tops, tube tops, and halter tops.

This is not a comprehensive list.  It is expected that each member will be responsible for communicating the dress code to all family and guests. Club management has been charged with enforcement of the code, so please be supportive.

Golf Cart Rules

At Westborough CC we have 3 scenarios for daily golf cart policy. The Superintendent determines which one will be applied for the day based upon course conditions.

  • Golf carts in the fairway only: Carts enter the fairway at the first green stake, remain in the fairway for the entire hole, and then exit the fairway at the last green stake. Please do not drive the golf cart in the rough or into another fairway. Park in the fairway and walk to your ball.
  • Golf carts permitted in the fairway for “red flags” only: Only players granted “red flags” are allowed to take the golf cart off the path.
  • Golf carts remain on the cart path.

Note:   Red flag carts are not permitted in the rough.
Note:   Juniors without a valid driver’s license are not allowed to drive the golf cart. Even if an adult is with them.
